On this expedition, you will be working with the community and local people where you will be helping them develop infrastructure. You will also be involved with a range of projects that involve fresh water management, education enrichment, environmental monitoring and mapping, income generation, waste management, health awareness, women’s empowerment and sustainable agriculture practice.
Volunteers will be acting as teaching assistants in the classroom or helping to run the one-on-one tuition program. We focus on improve literacy and numeracy levels as well as facilitating creative and physical development during art and sports.
During the construction part of the trip we focus on environment improvements including vegetable garden maintenance and installing and painting chicken coups. Volunteers may also get involved in redecoration of classrooms and dormitory improvements
